Green Landscape

Trees

  • Partnership with Casey Trees to help restore, enhance, and protect the tree canopy of the nation’s capital.
     
  • Green Star award for ground management.
     
  • Recognition for being a 2013 Tree Campus USA School.
     
  • Integrated pest management to minimize the use of chemicals on campus.

Green Buildings

Crough Hall

  • Green roofs on Father O'Connell Hall, Aquinas Hall, and the Law School Garage.
     
  • Construction of Opus Hall as LEED-certified building.
     
  • Crough Center designation as LEED Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance (EB: O+M) certified.
     
  • Custodial staff uses Green Seal certified products.
